I am a bass player with 20+ years experience of performing and recording with dozens of different bands and projects, in style ranging from modern jazz through country to punk rock.
I also have humble aspirations in composing, arranging, recording and producing my own music, involving me as a singer.

Below you find a selection of recordings with me on bass. It ranges from hard rock (Lord Bishop Rocks) through Czech folk to instrumental jazz (Zoidberg Quintet).
Bands and projects
Currently (in 2025), you can hear me to play with the following bands:
- Zoidberg Quintet (currently inactive, a second studio album still in the production pipeline)
- Maswakka Jazz Trio (with Martin Švantner (guitar) and Václav Mazín (drums))
- Emanation (a cover band from Plzeň & Prague)
- Fretless Voice Project (a solo project of mine, combining my fretless bass and my voice as the only instruments)
Occassionally, you can also encounter me in the following setup:
- Jirka Mucha Band (…when a stage allows to accommodate a rhythm section)
- Lord Bishop Rocks (playing a tour or a couple of gigs here and there)
