-This project attempts to answer these questions by using the methods of distant reading, i.e. by analyzing the corpora of ancient texts in Greek and Latin while using computer pogramming tools from the area of natural language processing. The important prerequisite of this project is the fact that due to such projects as [[http://​stephanus.tlg.uci.edu/​|TLG]] or [[http://​www.perseus.tufts.edu/​hopper/​|Perseus]] the input data are now digitalized and available online. In addittion to that, due to such projects as [[http://​www.dh.uni-leipzig.de/​wo/​projects/​open-greek-and-latin-project/​|Open Greek and Latin]] it is now also possible to get to the [[https://​github.com/​kasev/​LemmatizedAncientGreekXML/​tree/​master/​texts|raw textual data behind]] in a form suitable for other analysis (i.e. in standardized form with POS-tagged words etc.) or to find [[http://​cltk.org/​|completed tools]] for their analysis.
